OLASORE, FORMER OGUN FOOTBALL REFEREES COUNCIL SCRIBE RETIRES

The former General Secretary, Ogun State Football Referees Council, Mr. David Gbenga Mascot Olasore  celebrated his retirement alongside his Diamond (60th) Birthday Anniversary recently at the ceremony organized in Abeokuta.

Olasore, who also launched two books including Conquering The Storms and Not A Fair Garland, retired as Head of Administration, West African Examination Council, Abeokuta branch joined the Council in 1990. 

As a referee, he made his mark retiring as a Nigeria Premier League referee in 2011 and has since been serving as a NPFL Referee Assessor. He is known for his Midas touch in planning and administration, a disciplinarian and very vocal and blunt personality.

The occasion was graced by the top echelons of Ogun State Football Referees Council led by the Chairman, Mr. Obayemi and his wife, deputy chairman, Mr. Rauf, secretary, Mr. Rotimi Adigun, treasurer, Barr. Jinad, Auditor, Mr. Bamigboye and publicity secretary, Mr. Tijani.
Others are Society Chairmen of Ijebu-Ode, Mr. Aregbesola, Odeda, Mr. Usain, Ifo, Mr Ogunleye with others.
