In a rear display of talent and passion, the Ogun State Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Adeola Odedina at the weekend manifested his love and passion for music as he showcased his singing prowess.
The event was at his kemta idi- aba Housing Estate resident, where he treated friends, staffers and members of the fourth estate of the realm to a new year/end of the year party.
Dr. Odedina who in recent times had been showcasing his love for music at different fora surprisingly joined Awarawa, the musician at the event on the stage to thrill his guests to good melodies singing more of Ebenezer Obey's oldies and traditional music's to the admiration of all, even as he intermittently sings the praises of his boss, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
It was never a dull moment with Dr. Odedina who recalled in the singing spree and exuded high sense of humility and camaraderie.
Speaking at the end of the year/new year get together ,the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, Mr. Dotun Sorunke described the commissioner as a professional whose knowledge of agric production and agric econony is very deep and rewarding.
He recalled how through his efforts and leadership, Ogun state Governor had won the Governor of the year award in agriculture, back to back.
Mr Sorunke said Dr Odedina is not only a team player, but a man with a listening ear which earned him the numerous achievements recorded in the agric ministry in Ogun State.
The enthusiastic host who became the cynosure of all eyes as he continued to exchange uncommon banters with dignatories and guests at the event in a convivial and jovial manner electrified the stage with his display both musical and dancing.
Thereafter, it was an outpour of encomoum as the guest on ground comprising journalist, his staffers, neighbours and close allies took turn to eulogise Dr. Odedina who is always very much at home with those around him.
One of his beet attributes that resonated at the event among the guest was the fact that Dr. Odedina would reach out to people at interval just to great them through telephone conversation, an attitude which usually surperise many.
Dignitaries at the end of the year / New Year party include Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, Ogun state, Dr. Dotun Sorunke, Prof. Kolawale Adebayo of FUNAAB, Ogun NUJ Secretary, Bunmi Adigun, including notable media practitioners in the state.
