The Presidency, through the National Agricultural Land Development Agency (NALDA) has conferred on the Governor of Ogun State " Agricultural Friendly Governor of the Year Award".
The event was held on Thursday, 8th of
December 2022 at a colourful event held at the Eagles Square in Abuja.
The award ceremony had in attendance dignitaries led by His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, ably represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, (SGF), Mr Boss Mustapha.
Other dignitaries present were the Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Mahmood Abubakar, Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr. Ramatu Tijani Aliyu, Excellencies and Ambassadors of Canada, Hungary, Spain and a host of other distinguished members of the diplomatic community, farmers groups, and other stakeholders in the Agricultural and allied sectors.
Recall that the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun has in the last two years, been honoured with national awards as the Best in Agricultural development and intervention for the benefit of his people.
The Governor has continued to make history with consistent National Agricultural recognitions for three consecutive years.
The Governor was represented at the ceremony by the Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Adeola Odedina who has been working relentless to help achieve the Agricultural agenda of the present administration.
