Since the office of a Pastor has no expiry date, clerics have been urged to stop reducing themselves before those in positions of authority, but learn to
maintain their stability and focus on God to meet their needs.
The Lead Pastor of the Victory Life Bible Church, Apostle Lawrence Achudume who gave the admonition during a Pastors' Conference on the sideline of the 30th anniversary convention of the church said
heaven is weeping for the church in Africa.
The man of God who said not all miracles are miracles, observed that juju power will fail one day, admonishing pastors not to add anything to the gospel.
" Don't pretend to be who you are not. Wait for God's blessings."
According to Apostle Achudume, the office of a pastor is important in the moulding of the nation, saying most wrong leaders are exhalted by pastors because of peanuts they get from such leaders.
He said a Pastor who doesn't have prosperity will be messed up by the politicians pointing out that financial prosperity is only provided by God.
"Many politicians pocket clerics because they bring themselves low. It is not every money you take, or else you become a slave forever.", Achudume said.
On National issues, the cleric said,
"Not all Nigerians are lazy. Not all Nigerians are beggars.
Pastors are destiny moulders, dream interpreters.
Clerics can change the nation if they Continue to preach the message of hope."
The man of God also noted that any pastor that doesn't want to be offended should hang his boot informing that preaching the gospel attracts many challenges.
According to him, the calling of a pastor is sacred and should not be abused, observing that
God is not a wasteful investor.
Reiterating that life is full of ups and down, Apostle Achudume posited that Challenges of life and ministry, liars, betrayals and lack make some pastors to move away from God's commandments
And charging pastors to be conscious of their health and balance up,Apostle Achudume said the time has come for clerics to be prudent financially and shun appetite for material things.
" One of the biggest challenges of church is finance for the ministry. You must be conscious of God’s provisions and cultivate the habit of worshipping God".
While expressing optimism that Nigeria will be great again, the VLBC Lead Pastor charged his colleagues on the pulpit to be conscious of heaven which is the ultimate of every child of God.
