Have you decided what you want in life ?
Jack Canfield in the book " How to get where you are to where you wants to be", said the first thing for a man to achieve purpose in life is to first discover why he is here on earth and what should readily follow is to decide what you want to do or be.
This invariably mean that you must know of a fact , what you want to accomplish or experience in life.
According to him, one of the reasons why people don't get what they want out of life is that they have not decided what they want out of life.
As a result of the inability to define their purpose(s) in life, many peole have resorted to living other people's dream and at the same time, most people settles for less than they actually want.
When such happens, people suffer from what my digital coach, Solomon Okpa usually refer to as gaslighting.
This happens when people are hoodwinked to accept other people's ideal to replace their own. This also means that people can easily talk them out of their vision. They are easily swayed. They take everything as it comes, without a clear directional map. .
Someone said , a life not examined , is not worth living. If you do not stop at every juncture of your life journey, to assess your moves and see whether you are taking the right steps towards achieving greatness or not, you may not readily achieve your purpose.
To get to where you are going in life, you need ro have a mental picture of where you wants to be and how you hope to get there.
It is that mental picture that will act as the driving force towards attaining your goal. What you then do,as the journey progresses is to begin to tick which ones have been accomplished and what more hurdles are there to be crossed.
Dreams are supposed to be nurtured, watered and watch grow little by little. That is why a motivational speaker said, a man that Wakes up and find himself a success has probably not being sleeping.. it is as simple as that. You can't be complacent and refuse to have something driving you and expect resounding successes to come your way. LIFE gives you back what you put to it.
You do not expect that all the energies, toils and sleepless days and nights will go unrewarded. Likewise, an indolent person should expect his or her own reward. What you sow is what you reap.
May God open our eyes and heart of understanding.
Tomorrow is another day.
