The 2021 Summer Children Reading Camp of The SixthSense Initiative is to be declared open by the wife of the Ogun State Governor, Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun on Monday 2nd of August, 2021.
The Programme with the theme -"Reading Culture: A tool for National Development", which is the fourth in the series, is to hold at Wooten Hall, Baptist Girls College, Idi Aba, Abeokuta at 10:00am.
The SixthSense Initiative is championing the course of grooming tomorrow's leaders through reading culture.
The concept, a flagship programme of The SixthSense initiative will accommodate participants to a week of intensive training on Reading culture as well as having a swell time with notable personalities beginning from Sunday, the 1st of August, in addition to activities which includes, Reading skills and techniques amongst others.
Participants will also interact with Achievers, Authors, Professors, Judge and Professionals who will be sharing quality time with them as no less than 25 notable professionals and resource persons will be in attendance.
As part of the programme for the year, there will be a Special Time Out with Her Excellency, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun, the SixthSense Initiative Ambassador, where participants will have the opportunity of direct interactions with a lot of impacts.
Among other important dignitaries that will be sharing quality time with the participants is Sir Jimi Solanke, folklore exponent, literary giant, songwriter and dramatist who will be having a nice time with the participants.
Also to be in attendance is the Ekefa Olubadan, a renowned Journalist, Oloye Lekan Alabi.
The SixthSense Initiative is currently involved in the distribution of free books to schools through the Community Mobile Library Services, an offshoot of the initiative.
