INFIDELITY IN MARRIAGE : CAUSES AND WAY OUT.

Infidelity can be defined as the act or fact of having a romantic or sexual relationship with someone other than one's husband, wife, or partner.

There is a difference between infidelity and adultery. The difference is that adultery is sexual intercourse by a married person with someone other than their spouse while infidelity is unfaithfulness in marriage: practice or instance of having a sexual or romantic affair with someone other than one's spouse, without the consent of the spouse.

Signs of infidelities are many but let's look at the common ones, they are Improved appearance, secretive phone or computer use. Periods where your significant other is unreachable. Significantly less, or more, or different sex experience in your relationship. When your partner is unnecessary hostile toward you without a cause and an altered schedule.

The question is this, Why do people cheat on people they love?. They do that because they want to be accepted, respected, loved, wanted, or praised (the things they likely feel they aren't getting in their current relationship). The reasons vary from person-to-person, but they're all about a need the person is trying to get met.

Infidelity causes a lot of pain, guilt, and suffering, both for the person who cheated and the one who did the cheating. After all, people cheat for many different reasons, from neglect, to self destruction and to anger.

One can be free from infidelity and that can be done through determination and sincerity of mind. Tell him /her how their actions have affected your self-esteem. Explain to him how you now have doubts about love and do not trust to be with him/her anymore.

Above all run back to God for restoration and total forgiveness, what is not enough today will still be enough tomorrow if one exercise patience, faith and hardwork.
