As Muslims in Nigeria join their counterparts across the world to celebrate the Eid-el Kabir Festival, they have been enjoined to celebrate in moderation and exhibits love for one another especially adherent of other faiths.
The Amirah of FOMWAN, Alhaja Kudirat Rabiu in an Eid- el Kabir Message to Muslims also called on them to embrace the virtue of sacrifice as exemplified by prophet Ibrahim to Allah through his son ismail.
She said , Eid-el-Kabir is very significant in the life of every Muslim due to the virtues and values that it conveys.
The celebration of Eid-el-Kabir reminds us of the loving provision and sacrifice of Almighty Allah which has continued to sustain humanity".
Eid-el Kabir exemplifies love, sacrifice and the attitude of sharing , hence faithful should imbibe these viruses and ensure that the lessons of the festival are not lost even as they engage in merry making.
The FOMWAN Amirah also wants Muslim faithfuls to adhere strictly to all covid -19 protocols as the Delta variant of the COVID-19 pandemic is currently ravaging the world.
While saying that no meaningful development can be achieved in an atmosphere of rancour the Ogun FOMWAN Amirah also preaches unity and peaceful coexistence, saying the task of building a virile and prosperous nation rest with harmonious living...
